Here's the scoop for those who missed it: After watching song after Canada-lovin' song, my obnoxious brother-in-law Brad (played by the incomparable Brian Charles Rooney) interrupts the show as he just can't stand it anymore. You see, Canada Day falls just three days before Independence Day and Brad is of the opinion that to spend so much time acknowledging Canada rather than the great U.S.A. is a short step away from #Treason! So, he does what any self-respecting cabaret character would do in this situation and sings about it:
